Dr. Ahmed Al Ksed , Dean of the Faculty of Medicine announced that the college pays great attention to the courses and training programs that contribute to raise the efficiency of doctors and improve their skills and raise the level of performance In this context, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University held five consecutive seminars to train gynecologists and graduate students on everything modern in the field of infertility treatment and delayed childbearing, especially ICSI ..
Dr. Mohamed Kandil, head of the department and the supervisor of the seminars stated that these seminars offered over five weeks the new in treatment of delayed pregnancy and the time to resort to ICSI and how to choose the cases that are suitable to perform this operation, and how to evaluate and prepare it , as well as offer drugs that achieve the best results and doses required to produce good oocytes .
Head of the department explained that these seminars comes within the framework of continuing medical education for physicians and graduate students and that lecturers of the faculty members have been trained in specialized centers and participate in conferences that discuss this type of treatment, including Dr. Haitham Abu Ali and Ahmed Tharwat and Sharif Sobhy and Ibrahim Saif and Alaa Halabi .
Head of Department also confirmed that the department has trained personnel and seeks some time ago to create a unit for ICSI but lacks the funding to purchase the required hardware.
