Under the auspices of Dr. Mohammed Mouawad Al Kholi , head of Menoufia University and Dr. Inas Kassem , Dean of the College of Nursing the Department of Mental Health Nursing at  the Faculty organized an educational seminar to learn about the dangers of addiction and its negative impact on the individual, family and society,  Dr. Maaly El Maliki, head of the department that the problem of addiction is one of the most serious social problems facing Egyptian society and its psychological effects, social, health and economic on the addict and his family and his community, the symposium also include definition of addiction and the types of drugs and the causes of addiction and specially  Termadol Dr.Sabah Mohamed Ibrahim , assistant lecture at the  department and the rapporteur of the symposium stated that the drug of Termadol of palliative medicine and addiction it gradually affect the public health and youth accept to take it to give them a false sense of happiness, contrary to what caused a negative impact on the kidneys, liver, nervous system and made it clear that the abuse of a large amount of steroids can lead to death or respiratory failure or cardiac arrest or coma and pointed out that the addiction Treatment depends on the person management addict and his desire to heal and explained that the symptoms of withdrawal of the drug, which is represented in headaches, lack of sleep, back pain and hallucinations last from 7 to 10 days under the influence of certain drugs and the patient needs to be psychological treatment  from 6 to 12 months for non-return to addiction.
