Within the framework of the plan that  developed by Menoufia University  to update oncology Center at the University Dr. Moawad Al Kholi , the university president signed the final contract for the supply of leaner accelerated device that donated by a group of businessmen and entrepreneurs at Menofia University  and represented by Engineer / Mohamed Abdel Maksoud Khaira businessman, in the presence of Vice-Presidents of the University and Dean of the National liver Institute and chairman of the Central administration of university hospitals, and the head of tumors department, in addition to representatives of the Horizon company  for equipment which is approved agent of (global Elekta) company , manufacturer of the device, which is worth the estimated one million six hundred thousand dollars, and is an effective addition to the development of system plan of oncology at the university, where the work is going in  parallel in addition two new floors  to the oncology center to keep up with expansions and new devices and increase the number of beds available for patients with tumors visitors to the center.
