Follow up the case of diabetes patients to avoid  Eye Complications

Dr. Huda Sobki , Professor of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University announced that the scientific conference for eye diseases organized by the department of Ophthalmology under the auspices of Dr. Moawad Kholi , the University President and  Dr. Ahmed Al Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Dean of the College and under the chairmanship of  Dr. Mustafa Nassar, head of the department , has concluded several recommendations of the most important one is checking patients with diabetes to avoid Eye complications , and the need for scientific integration between ophthalmology departments in medical schools and teaching hospitals as well as the creation of specialized clinics funded by the universities in various branches of Ophthalmology  and Continuing Clinical Education, these recommendations have been studied and analyzed and turned into action to intervene into force.

She also added that the conference was held in collaboration with the Delta Egyptian Ophthalmological Society, discussed through two scientific sessions the new in the treatment of  eye and the retina and vitreous surgery and refractive surgery and eye diseases in children as well as checking 11 clinical case of a difficult diagnosis and treatment has been checked by the Department of ophthalmology at Menoufia University and discuss the way of treatment and special treatment of eye tumors and diseases of the retina related to diabetes and eye plastic surgery.
