“El-Kased” witnesses the introductory meeting for the Fulbright Egypt Scholarship Programs at Menoufia University

Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, witnessed the introductory meeting for the Fulbright Commission’s Egypt programs with faculty members, auxiliary staff, and researchers at Menoufia University, which was organized by the University’s Office of International Relations, to provide a detailed explanation of the Commission and ways to apply for master’s and doctoral programs, and a number of research and professional programs. In the presence of Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission in Egypt, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. Ghada Hassan, Executive Coordinator of the Office of International Relations. at Menoufia University.


At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, welcomed the members of the Fulbright Commission and the attendees, including deans, deans, faculty members, and researchers at Menoufia University, stressing the university’s constant keenness to develop research skills and support scientific research at the university by holding introductory and research meetings with international donor bodies for university researchers, such as the Fulbright is the scientific and cultural exchange committee between the United States of America and the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the aim of facilitating all affairs of the educational and cultural exchange program between the two countries. It has been working on granting international research programs for 75 years in Egypt.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also called on researchers to apply for the Authority’s announced programs in the master’s and doctoral programs, leadership preparation, and the joint supervision program for the doctoral degree. He added that the scholarships are fully funded for the purpose of studying master’s and doctorate degrees, collecting scientific material and conducting post-doctoral research, in addition to grants allocated to various arts, Islamic studies, languages, business administration, and developing the skills of faculty members.


Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of Menoufia University for Graduate Studies and Research, pointed out the role of deans and deans of colleges for graduate studies and research in supporting researchers and urging them to pursue research qualifications, vocational training, and the importance of the English language to enable them to learn about research grants in international bodies and the Fulbright Egypt Commission, and to support them with research and introductory workshops on how to Applying and obtaining a scholarship, gaining multiple professional experiences, and increasing the number of researchers in the master’s program for the supporting body.


Dr. Maggie Nassif spoke about the mechanism and how to apply and join the Authority’s programs in all fields for graduate students, researchers, professionals, and faculty members through the Authority’s website https://shorturl.at/fmL27.


Dr. Magi also referred to the type of programs available to researchers, such as master’s and doctoral programs, Islamic studies programs, research programs and scientific material collection for doctoral students in Egyptian universities, the joint supervision program for the doctoral degree, grants to conduct post-doctoral research, the visiting professors program, and the program for preparing leaders and gaining multiple professional experiences.
