Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development at Menoufia University, and Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, today offered their condolences to the families of the victims of the horrific regional road accident in Menoufia Governorate, which resulted in the death of 19 girls and the injury of others from the village of Kafr El-Sanabsa, Menoufia District. Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, attended the funeral procession, along with leaders from Menoufia Governorate.

The two vice presidents conveyed the condolences of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, to the families of the victims and his apologies for not being able to attend the meeting, which was held at Damietta University to attend the Supreme Council of Universities. The Council affirmed the provision of all necessary psychological and social support to the families of the victims.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and the two vice presidents expressed their deep sorrow and regret over this tragic incident, praying to God to have mercy on the victims and grant them eternal peace in heaven, and to inspire their families with patience and solace.
