Menoufia University President Meets Dr. Ahmed El-Shaarawy and Congratulates Him on Senate Membership

Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Dr. Ahmed El-Shaarawy, former Dean of the National Liver Institute and former Governor of Dakahlia, at his office today to congratulate him on his appointment as a member of the Egyptian Senate by the presidential decree issued by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as one of the one hundred members appointed.

The meeting was attended by Vice Presidents Dr. Sobhy Sharaf for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Nasser Abdelbary for Education and Students, Dr. Ghada Hassan for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Omar Turki, Legal Advisor to the University President.

During the meeting, Dr. El-Kased expressed his happiness at this decision, which reflects the great trust the President places in dedicated national talents. He affirmed that Dr. El-Shaarawy is an outstanding example of a successful academic and administrator who has devoted many years to serving the university and the nation through a distinguished career in scientific, medical, and administrative fields.

Dr. El-Kased highlighted that Menoufia University takes pride in its loyal personnel who continue to fulfill their national mission in various positions of responsibility. He wished Dr. El-Shaarawy continued success in performing his duties and contributing effectively to supporting Egypt’s development and progress under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

In turn, Dr. El-Shaarawy expressed his sincere gratitude to the university president for the kind congratulations. He praised the remarkable development witnessed at Menoufia University in education, scientific research, and community services, emphasizing his pride in belonging to the university and his readiness to cooperate and participate in all initiatives that support its mission and the country’s sustainable development efforts.

The meeting concluded with the two exchanging commemorative photographs, expressing mutual appreciation and best wishes for continued success in serving the nation.
