Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, paid an official visit to the headquarters of Sadat City University to extend his congratulations to Prof. Nasser Abdelbary on the occasion of the issuance of the Presidential Decree appointing him as President of the University. He was accompanied by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ms. Souad Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the University, and a number of faculty deans. He wished him continued success in performing his duties and in further advancing the development of the educational and research systems, praising the distinguished academic and administrative experience that qualifies him to achieve a qualitative leap in the University’s performance in the coming period.
Prof. El-Kased highlighted the deep-rooted historical relations between the two universities, affirming that Menoufia University is keen to strengthen cooperation with Sadat City University in various fields, particularly in the medical, research, and technological sectors, in a way that facilitates the exchange of expertise and the optimal utilization of the available capabilities at both institutions.
During the visit, discussions were held between both sides on ways to develop the educational system, in addition to exploring mechanisms for cooperation in different fields. The discussions also emphasized the importance of implementing joint research projects and exchanging faculty members and students, which would contribute to enhancing the quality of the educational process and improving the competence of graduates.
Prof. El-Kased also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at improving the quality of educational and healthcare services, noting that integration among universities represents a fundamental pillar for achieving the vision of the Egypt for 2030.
For his part, Prof. Nasser Abdelbary, President of Sadat City University, expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration among universities. He also expressed his pride in the distinguished relations with Menoufia University, describing himself as one of its sons, and affirmed his keenness to further strengthen these relations in the coming period in a manner that serves the educational and research processes.
He also noted that Sadat City University seeks to develop its academic programs, expand the base of scientific research, and enhance openness to various educational institutions in order to prepare graduates capable of meeting the demands of the labor market locally and internationally.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides affirmed the continuation of coordination and cooperation between the two universities and the opening of new horizons for collaboration in various fields, in a manner that supports the higher education and scientific research system and contributes to achieving sustainable development goals.
