Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted a night inspection tour at the National Liver Institute and the Institute’s Hospital. He was received by Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the Institute, and Dr. Ahmed Attia, Executive Director of the Institute’s Hospital. The visit came within the framework of his continuous follow-up on the progress of work and to ensure the quality of medical services provided to patients, particularly during evening hours.
During the tour, the President of the University inspected the reception and emergency departments, intensive care units, and inpatient wards, where he checked the availability of medical supplies and medications and reviewed the regularity of the work of medical and nursing teams. He commended the efforts of the medical staff in providing healthcare services to patients around the clock.
He was also keen to speak with patients and their families to listen to their views regarding the level of services provided, affirming that the University places great importance on delivering distinguished medical services in accordance with the highest quality standards and is continuously working to develop the healthcare system within its university hospitals.
Prof. El-Kased emphasized that the National Liver Institute is considered one of the leading medical institutions in Egypt, given its continued achievements in the fields of diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases. He also noted the University’s full support for all efforts aimed at enhancing healthcare services and meeting patients’ needs.
For his part, Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, affirmed that the visit reflects the keenness of the University’s administration to conduct continuous field follow-up and to support the healthcare system. He noted that the Institute has witnessed significant development in the level of medical services and infrastructure, contributing to the provision of comprehensive healthcare for patients. He also explained that the work teams operate efficiently around the clock to ensure rapid response to critical cases while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
