Today, the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the National Liver Institute had the honor of hosting Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamed – Professor of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Kasr Al-Ainy, specializing in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) 🇨🇳🤝.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamed delivered an outstanding lecture titled:
HIFU and its Applications 🔊
During which he reviewed the latest applications of high-intensity focused ultrasound technology and its evolving role in non-surgical treatment.

One of the main advantages of HIFU technology is its high precision, allowing deep tissue targeting without any surgical incision, in addition to short procedure time, rapid recovery, and a lower complication rate compared to traditional methods.
