Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, witnessed the activities of the Peoples’ Forum in its third edition, which is organized by the University’s Expatriates Office in cooperation with the General Administration of Youth Welfare, in the presence of the University’s Vice Presidents, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for community service and environmental development, Dr. Hazem Saleh for graduate studies and research, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari for education and students, deans of colleges, and Dr. Ghada Hassan, Executive Coordinator for International Relations, Dr. Mohamed Lotfy, Executive Coordinator for Expatriates, a large number of college deputies, faculty members, employees, and Egyptian students from all colleges, a student delegation from Menoufia National University, students from the Family for Central Egypt, and expatriates from Arab countries; Palestine, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, the Emirates, Djibouti, Nigeria, Sudan, the Sultanate of Oman, Jordan, Syria, Kuwait, Morocco, and Bahrain under the slogan “One People, One Homeland” in a large celebration held in the covered hall.

The celebration began with a parade in which students from various Arab countries participated. Egyptian students also participated in the parade, led by flag bearers from all participating countries. Then a documentary film about Menoufia University was shown, highlighting the most important landmarks in the governorate and the university and introducing the university’s distinguished programs and colleges, and student activities, with the participation of The international students, then a student gave a speech on behalf of the international students in which he expressed his thanks to the university president, the deputies, and the officials in the international relations office, and praised the services provided to them, taking full care of them, and providing all their needs.
Student Mahmoud Khalil, President of the University Students Union, gave a speech in which he welcomed the international students and stressed the cooperation between all students and that the University Students Union provides all the necessary services to support its foreign colleagues.
Dr. Mohamed Lotfy also delivered a speech in which he welcomed the university president, the representatives, and all the foreign and Egyptian students participating in this important forum, which represents a great honor and a strong symbol of the unity and interdependence of peoples, and an affirmation of his firm belief that solidarity and cooperation are the only way to achieve progress and prosperity, directing his thanks and appreciation to all who contributed. In organizing the forum through participation in the academic, cultural and social fields, he stressed that Menoufia University firmly believes in the values of tolerance and mutual respect, and strives to create a safe and inclusive university environment for all, and emphasizes the right of all students to education and knowledge without any discrimination.
The university president expressed his happiness to participate in this important day, which raises the slogan of one people, one homeland, in which students from various Arab countries who study at Menoufia University, the beacon of science and knowledge in the Arab Republic of Egypt, their second homeland and the heart of the Arab nation, participate, sending a message of welcome to his children, foreign and Egyptian students, praising In the spirit of love, brotherhood and cooperation that prevails among them.
The university president stressed that attention to the expatriate file is in implementation of the presidential mandates for the Study in Egypt initiative adopted by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the higher education strategy for developing the expatriate student system, providing distinguished services to expatriate students, and facilitating the necessary procedures for applying to study in Egypt, which led to an increase in the numbers of expatriates. expatriates in all Egyptian universities, as the demand of students from Arab countries to study in Egypt confirms the positive results of the measures that have been taken to facilitate the needs of expatriate students, stressing that the university is witnessing many achievements and the development of new distinguished educational programs that keep pace with the technological and information revolution in the world, and provides service Educational qualifications that prepare the student for the local and international labor market, and prepare generations distinguished by distinguished and promising skills that keep pace with academic developments, and parallel the scale of the scientific renaissance that the world is witnessing.
He addressed a speech to his fellow foreign students in which he stressed his full support for the Arab communities, enhancing cooperation and understanding among all students to create a bright educational future, and organizing more activities to be a good opportunity to exchange different Arab cultures and get to know each other between foreign students and Egyptian students by presenting heritage pictures from every Arab country. He showcased the talents of expatriate students and encouraged them to participate in various student activities, stressing that Egypt has always and forever been a homeland for all Arab peoples that includes everyone without exception.
The celebration included many artistic, sporting and popular performances, as Al-Khayyat Sports Academy presented a gymnastics show with the participation of players from different age groups, and the College of Specific Education Choir presented a singing show under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the College. The College of Physical Education also presented a sports show for students under the supervision of Dr. Naeem Fawzi, Dean of the College, in addition to presenting folklore heritage items to students coming from every Arab country that expresses the authentic Arab heritage of each country.
Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, department directors, Dr. Salah Diab, employees of the Expatriates Office, the General Administration of Public Relations, Protocol and Information, and the General Administration of Internal Security participated in organizing the celebration.
