Menoufia University makes new progress in the British Times “THT” classification

Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that Menoufia University has achieved new progress in the international classification of universities “THE”.

The university president pointed out that the report revealed that Menoufia University obtained advanced positions in the classification, as it was listed in the category “301-350” in the Young Universities Classification 2023 and “801-100” in the Impact Classification 2022, while it came in the category “1001-1200.” In the world university rankings 2023
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his happiness with this progress, which reflects the efforts made to advance the university, noting that the university is working to improve the outcomes of international university classifications and achieve the standards required for them, in terms of developing the educational and research process in it and increasing the number of research published in international magazines and periodicals.
The university president added that “THE” is one of the main international organizations responsible for classifying universities at the international level, explaining that the 2024 edition of the Times Emerging University Rankings witnessed an increase in the number of universities listed to 673 universities, compared to 605 universities that participated in the competition in last year’s edition. .
El-Kased also stressed the university’s continued aspiration for excellence and the development of the university’s educational and research process through the university’s support for researchers and faculty members, offering congratulations to the university’s employees on this new achievement.
Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, added that the Times classification provides accurate assessments of the performance of universities at the global level since 2004, and focuses on basic elements: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international horizons. Pointing out that the Times Higher Education Classification for 2023 included more than 1,700 universities distributed over 104 countries and regions, making it one of the strongest and most diverse international classifications of universities, and the classification is based on 13 performance indicators, representing five areas.
