* The University President congratulates the President of the Republic on the occasion of the June 30 Revolution, a turning point in the nation's history.

* Announces approval for the establishment of Menoufia Technological University in Sadat City to keep pace with scientific developments and labor market requirements.

* Approval for the establishment of Menoufia Medical Services Company, an investment company, to support the university health sector and enhance integration between academic and service aspects.

Menoufia University Council held its monthly session, chaired by Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and attended by Council members: Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University; and deans of faculties.

The University President began the meeting by extending his warmest congratulations, on behalf of the University Council, to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and to the great Egyptian people, on the occasion of the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. He emphasized that the June 30 Revolution represents a turning point in the nation's history, restoring the true will of the Egyptian people and laying the foundations for a new republic based on construction, development, and stability.

He praised the achievements made in various fields under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, noting that the University continues its role in supporting comprehensive development plans through education, scientific research, and community service. He expressed his hope that God would grant Egypt lasting security and stability and that its wise leadership would succeed in achieving the best interests of the nation and its citizens.

The University President noted that the University hosted the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, which was held at the University's headquarters amidst excellent organization, reflecting the University's competence and readiness to host important events. He thanked Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, and the members of the Supreme Council of Universities for accepting the invitation, expressing his happiness at hosting this important event and the Minister's inauguration of the Measurement and Evaluation Center.

The University President extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of the organizing committee, staff, technical and administrative support teams, and everyone who contributed to the preparation and organization. He praised the spirit of cooperation and teamwork demonstrated during the hosting activities.

He emphasized that the University continues to fulfill its role in supporting university development and always opens its doors to host scientific and community events that contribute to advancing education and serving the community.

He also congratulated Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, and all the people of the governorate on the occasion of the governorate's National Day. He expressed his hope that this precious occasion would bring further progress and advancement to the governorate and its people, and that it would always remain a model of comprehensive development and renaissance, further progress, prosperity, and continued support for development across the governorate. He noted that the University participated in the governorate's celebrations and the inauguration of the Technical Institute of Nursing, coinciding with the celebration. This institute is a distinguished academic institution and a strong addition to the medical sector and nursing system, providing distinguished educational services to graduate qualified and trained students to work in all hospitals.

Coinciding with the governorate's National Day celebrations, the university organized a comprehensive convoy to the village of Manshiyat Sultan, which examined and provided free treatment to 950 residents. On the sidelines of the medical clinics, the convoy presented a number of awareness-raising and educational seminars to discuss and review important and vital topics, in cooperation with the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company and the Governorate's Women's Affairs Department.

The university president congratulated Prof. Ahmed Sabry El-Gammal on the issuance of the decision to assign him to serve as dean of the Oncology Institute, wishing him success in his duties. He also thanked Dr. Hossam El-Fol, the founding dean of the institute, for his efforts during his tenure as dean. In this regard, the university president expressed his happiness and appreciation for the Oncology Institute Hospital's accreditation by the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision (GAHAR), emphasizing that this accreditation represents the culmination of the institute's efforts in the field of oncology treatment in the governorate and neighboring governorates.

The university president announced the Minister of Higher Education's approval of the establishment of the Menoufia Technological University in Sadat City, and the commencement of preparations for the necessary procedures to commence construction and issue the presidential decree. He noted that the university will initially include five colleges covering the most important specializations serving technological education. He explained that this approach represents a true response to the rapid changes the world is witnessing in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. He noted that the technological university will not be limited to theoretical education alone, but will adopt an advanced model that combines academic study with practical training, ensuring the graduation of students with the skills and knowledge that qualify them to compete locally and regionally, in line with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Egypt's Vision 2030 for the development of higher education. The university president also announced the approval of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish the Menoufia Medical Services Company as an investment company affiliated with the university. The company will support the university's healthcare sector and enhance integration between academic and service aspects. He emphasized that this step comes within the framework of the university's efforts to develop its healthcare system and enhance the quality of services provided to the community. It also represents an important opportunity to leverage the university's human and scientific capabilities to serve the community by providing medical services that extend beyond the university's borders, in cooperation with public and private sector institutions, within a legal and regulatory framework that ensures efficiency, transparency, and sustainability. The university president briefed the attendees on the visit of Minister Lu Chunsheng, the Education Counselor and Director of the Scientific and Technological Office at the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, and his accompanying delegation. He also highlighted the important activities that took place during the visit, including enhancing cooperation in the fields of Chinese medicine, physical therapy, and Chinese language teaching, and the initiation of proposals for cooperation protocols in these areas. He emphasized that the Chinese delegation praised the visit's activities, the facilities provided by Menoufia University and Menoufia Private University, and the university's strategic plan to expand into establishing a technological university and an international university. The two sides discussed ways of joint cooperation in this regard, areas where the available capabilities can be leveraged, and ways to facilitate student exchange and training between Egyptian and Chinese universities.

During the session, the university president expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all faculty members, staff, and students at the conclusion of the current academic year, emphasizing that the final exams were conducted in an atmosphere of discipline and good organization. He commended the strict adherence to academic and administrative procedures that contributed to the success of the educational process.

The University President stressed the need to complete the correction and grading process as quickly as possible, while ensuring complete accuracy in reviewing results, to protect students' interests and ensure fairness and transparency. He emphasized the importance of announcing results according to the specified schedule, enabling students to make timely decisions regarding graduation, enrollment in the summer term, or the new academic year. He thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the academic year and wished students continued success in their academic and professional careers.

The University President announced the timeline for the new academic year 2025/2026 as follows:

- September 20: The start of the new academic year at universities and institutes.

- January 1: The start of final exams for the first semester.

- January 24: The start of the mid-year break for the new academic year.

- February 7: The start of the second semester.

- May 21: The end of the second semester.

The Council also approved the admission coordination rules for students who have obtained the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent, technical certificates, and the Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate.

He emphasized the university's continued implementation of sports, artistic, cultural, and social activities and support for talented athletes and artists during the summer vacation to harness the energy of youth and develop a sense of belonging and loyalty.

He emphasized the need to focus on transforming scientific research outputs into products that contribute to serving the national economy, in addition to promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and linking scientific research to development plans and societal needs.

The university president reviewed the report submitted by the university's Quality Assurance Center on the colleges' status regarding accreditation, praising the performance of the College of Medicine and its success in renewing its accreditation for the second time. He also commended the level of performance of the College of Applied Health Sciences Technology, thanking all those working at the Quality Assurance Center and Prof. Zafaa Zahran, the center's supervisor, for their efforts in this regard.

The university president also reviewed the most important activities and events that took place since the previous session, most notably: receiving Dr. Khaled Al-Sa'ran, head of the institutional accreditation evaluation team assigned by the General Secretariat of the Arab Council for Health Specializations of the Council of Arab Ministers of Health at the League of Arab States.

This was to visit university hospitals, the Liver Institute Hospital, and the Cancer Institute Hospital, as part of the evaluation procedures for these university hospitals to be accredited as training centers recognized by the Arab Board.

The meeting also included Prof. Reda Hegazy, President of the University of Leadership for Science and Technology in Sadat City, and the former Minister of Education, as part of strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the two universities and discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation in the coming period.

The meeting also included a delegation from the Central Unit for Digital Transformation at the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Dr. Mohamed Hassan Gadallah, Director of the Central Unit for Digital Transformation, and a number of representatives of digital transformation at Egyptian universities. This was to hold the regular meeting of digital transformation coordinators and trainers at Egyptian universities, hosted by Menoufia University.

Prof. Sobhi Sharaf and Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary presented topics related to the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector and the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
