Prof. Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Nora Abdel Moez Samry, Head of the Information Technology Department at the Faculty, participated in the DYS-Infini Tech (Technology Without Borders) event launched by the State Information Service within the framework of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Human Being" under the slogan "Hand in Hand, We Will Succeed for Sure", as the event witnessed cooperation between the Authority, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the University Career Development Center in Menoufia, and the activities extend to include the Delta and Canal governorates. The event was opened in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, who participated via video conference. The Nile Media Center in Menoufia also organized a scientific meeting on "Cybersecurity and Digital Identity Protection", with the participation of a group of experts. Prof. Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the College, reviewed the increasing risks posed by cyber attacks, explaining that their goal is to access sensitive information, which necessitates the existence of effective mechanisms for cyber security. His Excellency also advised the participants to protect their privacy and avoid publishing personal information randomly on social media, warning of the danger of hacking and electronic blackmail. Assistant Professor Dr. Nora Abdel Moez Samry discussed the relationship between information technology and cyber security, stressing that technological developments have been accelerating since 1941 until the age of artificial intelligence. In conclusion, shields and certificates were distributed to the lecturers and participants.
