Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased emphasized that Menoufia University is committed to supporting purposeful student initiatives that contribute to community service and promote health and humanitarian awareness. He noted that blood donation campaigns represent an outstanding model of volunteer work and reflect the sense of responsibility demonstrated by university students and their commitment to supporting patients and individuals in need of blood transfusions.

The University President added that promoting a culture of blood donation is one of the most important public health issues, as it contributes to saving thousands of lives. He praised the efforts of the students of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation and their dedication to organizing the campaign for the ninth consecutive year, reflecting remarkable community awareness and the active role of university youth in supporting national and healthcare initiatives.

The campaign was implemented in two phases. The first phase covered the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics, the University Academic Complex, and Al-Agayza Village, while the second phase included the University Academic Complex and Shinwan Village. The campaign aimed to reach the largest possible number of citizens and students to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and its health and humanitarian benefits.

The campaign seeks to reduce the shortage of blood bags and contribute to increasing the percentage of blood donors to 3%, in line with Egypt Vision 2030. It also aims to educate citizens about the health benefits of blood donation for donors themselves.

The campaign successfully raised awareness among approximately 3,500 individuals regarding the importance of blood donation and encouraged the participation of around 300 blood donors throughout its various activities.

Bassant Abdel Razek, Marketing Officer of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation Office at Menoufia University for the current year, explained that the campaign was conducted under the leadership of Farha Khaled, President of the Office; Kyrillos Nabil, Public Health Committee Coordinator; and Nora Ahmed, External Relations Officer, in cooperation with the rest of the office members and under the supervision of Menoufia University and the Faculty administration.
