President of Menoufia University Issues Decisions on the Appointment and Renewal of Assignments of Several Faculty Vice Deans to Enhance Academic Work and Serve Students and the Community Media Department 17/08/2026 Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, issued a number of decisions regarding the appointment and renewal of assignments of vice deans at several faculties of the university, as part of the university's commitment to supporting academic and administrative competencies, ensuring the continuity of work across various sectors, and enhancing the systems of education and student affairs, postgraduate studies and research, community service, and environmental development. The appointment decisions at the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology included the appointment of Dr. Waheed Mohamed Salem Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs for a one-year term. Dr. Samah Mohamed Abu El-Yazid Arisha, Professor at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, was also appointed Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development for a one-year term. At the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased decided to appoint Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamel Asr, Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences, as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, replacing his position as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, until October 20, 2028, completing the remainder of his previous term. The appointment decisions at the Faculty of Home Economics also included the appointment of Dr. Heba Ezz El-Din Youssef Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs for a three-year term. The President of the University also issued a decision to renew the assignment of Dr. Mina Ibrahim Samaan Ibrahim, Assistant Professor at the Department of Machine Intelligence, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, to serve as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development until the end of the 2026/2027 academic year or until a professor is appointed to the faculty, whichever comes first. The assignment of Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Kafafi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Data Science, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, was also renewed to serve as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs for the same period. The renewal decisions also included the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, where Dr. Yasmina Mohamed Mohamed Younes, Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychological Sciences, was assigned to serve as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs until the end of the 2026/2027 academic year or until a professor is appointed to the faculty, whichever comes first.
