President of Menoufia University Inspects Outpatient Clinics and Central Sterilization Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry and Affirms Continued Development of Medical Services

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the outpatient clinics at the Faculty of Dentistry to monitor the regularity of workflow and the quality of therapeutic services provided to visitors, and to ensure the standard of healthcare within the clinics. This visit comes as part of the University’s continuous field monitoring of medical and educational facilities.

During the tour, the University President followed up on the regular operation of various clinics, extended Eid Al-Adha greetings to the faculty staff, and praised the efforts of faculty members, teaching assistants, medical teams, and administrative staff in delivering distinguished healthcare services. He also commended their commitment to quality standards and patient safety protocols, ensuring the provision of high-level medical care.

He was accompanied during the visit by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Salah Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, along with the faculty vice deans.

Prof. El-Kased also reviewed the quality of services provided to patients inside the clinics and listened to feedback from visitors regarding the level of healthcare services. He reaffirmed the University’s commitment to providing a safe and efficient treatment environment that meets patients’ needs, while continuously working to improve medical and therapeutic services.

The University President also inspected the central sterilization units at the faculty, ensuring the efficiency of the equipment used and the regular implementation of sterilization procedures in accordance with approved protocols. He emphasized that adhering to the highest infection control standards is a top priority to protect students, staff, and patients, and to ensure the continuous delivery of medical services with high efficiency and quality.

The tour also included the inspection of the compressor unit at the faculty, where he assessed operational efficiency and the technical readiness of equipment supporting clinical services, contributing to the smooth delivery of healthcare services to visitors.

Prof. El-Kased affirmed that the University continues its field monitoring approach across all faculties and university hospitals to enhance performance efficiency and improve the quality of educational and healthcare services. He noted that developing medical infrastructure and modern equipment is part of the University’s plan to achieve sustainable development goals and support the state’s vision for advancing higher education and healthcare systems.

He added that the Faculty of Dentistry is one of the distinguished faculties within the University in terms of the quality of its educational and clinical services. He stressed the University’s commitment to supporting the faculty to enhance its capacity to deliver advanced medical services, while continuing to train young cadres and improve the efficiency of medical staff in line with the latest global standards in education and treatment.

For his part, Prof. Salah Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, affirmed that the faculty is keen on providing integrated educational and clinical services according to the latest medical standards. He noted the ongoing development of clinics, medical equipment, sterilization units, and supporting devices, which contributes to improving service quality and providing an excellent training environment for students and trainee doctors.
